Id say chuck records have sold multiples of what the records that made no.1 back then sold. thats not too knock those records but chucks have lasted much longer, they survived the era of 50s easy listening, brit invasion, folk rock, psychadelia, glam rock, prog rock, punk, 80s pop, britpop, new wave, disco, alt rock and heavy metal. kids will always be listening to chuck as long as they are listening to music. in my own home town there is a band made up of 15 year olds playing mostly chuck berry and chuck berry influenced music...they are starting to hit the big time here in ireland and making waves in london also so its great to see him coming back into fashion !
