Berry Park

I just finished watching the fantastic "Hail Hail Rock'n Roll." I was wondering if CBII wouldn't mind answering: Does Berry Park still exist? Is it still the same as it was in the film? Did Chuck wind up playing gigs there in his rocking chair years?

My parents still own Berry Park. It's roughly the same. The building we called the "Lodge" burned to the ground a couple of years ago but not much else has changed. Dad still cuts the grass and still records his music. It's still closed to the public.

Thanks for the response. Was The Lodge the building shown in the movie with the chairs and stage, ect?

What you are describing was the "CLUB." When Berry Park was opened to the pulblic, it was used as a psydo night club. There was live music a bar etc. Once the Park closed to the public it became a state of the art (for the time) recording studio. There are passing glances of the lodge during the scenes of my father cutting the grass.
