Does anyone know when Chuck performed Memphis, Tn? Far as I know the record has been released in 1963. I know of a Beatles version recorded in 1962. Could it be that Chuck Berry performed the song in a movie or on stage before his record was released?

Memphis Tennessee was recorded in July 1958 on 4221 West Easton Avenue in St. Louis. The single (Chess 1729) was released in June 1959.
