Chuck have deserved this for decades.
I hope the real statues face is going to be better then the small one.

I am making a friendly challenge to all Chuck Berry Fans that haven't yet, but have been thinking about donating, to take action and help with this overdue honor for Chuck!! Does anyone know what ideas Joe has for the sidewalks in Chuck Berry Plaza. I think it would be neat to have some CB Gold Record Plaques commemerating Chuck's big hits, or plaques of milestones in his life. I really like what they did down at the new Busch Stadium home of the Cardinals. They have a plaque for milestones in Cardinal history, then have bricks around them from fans. I would love to buy a brick if something was done like this at Chuck Berry Plaza. I imagine the CB Plaza project is going to be First Class with Joe Edwards involved.

Chuck Berry statue in the Loop is nearing a reality

It all started when Post-Dispatch’s Bill McClellan wrote a column about the need for a statue of the “father of rock and roll” legendary musician Chuck Berry. Joe Edwards is leading the charge to erect a statue in the Loop to honor Chuck Berry. The statue is being created by Harry Weber.
