Someone told me that all the shows at Blueberry Hill are recorded. Hope that's true, and that they've been kept. Imagine what "double album" that would be-- the very best moments from more than 15 years of performances. When Johnny Johnson came. When different rock stars showed up. Or when things just clicked especially well between Chuck, the band, and the audience. It wouldn't be a best seller, but I bet it would find a steady audience, (with sales every day for decades at Blueberry Hill). Someone ought to put it together. (For me!)

...there was a stretch of maybe five years wherein every BBH show was recorded digitally by Chuck's engineer Dave Torretta. I have one such show on my iPod. Whether the shows will ever see the light of day is a good question, but there are some excellent live tracks/shows in the can...

I don't know about the movie concept, but I know for a fact that there are at least five years of live shows from BBH recorded on 24-track digital...could easily release a live CD, and as I said, there are some killer tracks to choose from...

Bob--

You should talk with Joe Edwards and Chuck. You'd be a great producer for this project. I'd be a great customer. (And they'd both make money!) (Sell 'em at the bar!)
