As they say - "He's not just good - he's Thorogood!!

Just saw Lonesome George last night at the Riverside Casino south of Iowa City, Iowa. The very first song he played was Chuck's Sweet Little Rock & Roller. He rocked the song hard and at the end did what I can best describe as a "Standing Duckwalk" then a few moments later with his sax player by his side they did a semi crouched Duckwalk. George did two encores and when he came back for the first one he changed into a different t-shirt and across the chest of it were the words Let It Rock. Of coarse to this Chuck Berry fan that was in the audience it put a big smile on my face. George and the Destroyers just played at The Pageant earlier this week, here is a link to some pictures from that show......
