well its nite time, i am sitting listening to some obscure chuck berry live album. i belive it is from toronto 1969 rock n roll revival concert. which i have on dvd and is my favourtie. just wanted to share with you all why that is.
if u play it from the first song u can see chuck actually perk up after maybelinee n think.. wait they dig me!! i want to play! even tho i have seen chuck in concert in 1999/200 london.. which was the best moement ever!! little richard came on stage first.. gave his long speech.. is there any italians here.. is there any blacks.. is there any arabs.. is there any whiltes!! lol no figure. then the lackluster jerry lee lewis who didnt even get out of his stool.. the crowd of 15,000 was still in there respecitve seats and postion. that was until the guy came on sayin and now!! my friend chuck berry! me and my dad were sitting upper far left looking down on stage and the masses of seats and standing room. suddenly everone ran for the centre in front of stage. we didnt hesitate, waited my whole life for this. out walks chuck.. nodding with his captains hat on, if i remember correctly stary red shirt n cherry red gibson. straight away we marched into roll over bethoven .. that was it... lost the plot! started singing and dancing as everyone did. quickly turned into a request show and me being me had to shout out my ding aling as loud as possible, knowing i had no chance! chuck sorta had the look like.. im afraid not son!shouting did i hear nadine! i wasnt gonna aruge! of we went seemed like 5 mins but nearly a our had past and chuck was layin into jonny b goode and singin that.. u want me to stay!!! ohhh if i could tell you what it felt like.. just me and chuck feeding of the audience me wantin them to send him more vibes.. felt like my soul was floating of to heaven and exploding and i was so happy about it. guess what im saying is.. yes i had tickets for last week in newcastle but it doesnt matter.. my soul is forever intertwined with chuck. like i was re incornated in this lifetime knowing i lived before. thank you and god bless. u know me as reeler106p. good night and god bless and most of all........ thankyou!! xoxox
