Today I'm thankful for the opportunity to see the legendary Chuck Berry. I've got tickets to the Dec 16 show and was wondering what is a good time to get in line to be able to get a good seat.

Looking forward to some reeling and rocking with CB and family.

Hi King Riffhard, :D - Both times I went we got down to BB Hill around 3:30 but I'd say you'd be ok if it was 5 or 6:00. There is an old post here on the Forum about halfway down the page entitled - Help Blueberry Hill Veterans where several Fans gave me some good tips on the time to arrive for the show. Actually if you've got tickets that's about all you need, the Duck Room is a close intimate setting. CBII describes it as having Chuck in your very own basement!! Your going to have a great time. Its Chuck up close and personal. I can't wait to get back down....

I would recommend showing up at least 1 1/2 - 2 hours early. I went to the November show and we showed up at around 7:30ish and we were near the back part of the line. By the time we got through the doors the place was pretty much packed. Luckily a couple offered us some seats on the second row that they had previously saved for some of their friends that never showed up. Otherwise you'll be standing for around 3 hours! Good Luck, I know you'll have a blast!

I've only been once but I 1) recommend the cheeseburger and the 2) onion soup, and then move to the bar near the door an hour and a half or so before the show. You'll be able to see the line form. I had fun just waiting in line. The people are all excited and telling their CB stories. You see the band walk by. There are great pictures on the wall. And you'll either a) get a seat or b) a great spot behind the seats. Anyway, have a blast, and then tell us about it.
