I got a tip to contact the Sacramento archivist who has all the booking sheets for the 1960s and 1970s and learned the date was February 13, 1971! I'm still looking for folks who might have been there (there weren't many!): especially from the backup band-- Slo Loris. If you were there, let me know. Peter
