Hi. Mr. CBII let me say I am so happy your father and I assume yourself will be in Baltimore!

Also just to let you know I saw the Silver Beats- who I understand will be performing backup for Chuck Berry- a few months ago at the 930 Club and they were really good. They are as you probably know a Japanese Beatles tribute band but they are very fun and put on a great show...... ANyhow I was most impressed with them ..One of the band members speaks english fluently (I think one of his parents was american) so communicating with the band should be easy.. They wrote about how excited they are to perform with Chuck Berry on their myspace page.. so hopefully everything goes well

Please watch out for the August heat! It gets hot down here that time of year...

Any chance of taking advantage of coming to the area to play a small show in the area? You know I work at a local theater part time and had just sent a pitch to the manager to try to get CB down to DC area as its been so so long (I understand he played a private event-lawyer conference party- as a friend of mine was fortunate to be there..) but the festival beat me to it...

I have been wanting to see Chuck Berry for years and will be attending the festival only for that reason.....I'm not really into Festivals..

Lastly I have a bunch of Chuck Berry original Chess LPs and on the off chance CB wouldn't mind signing one PM me.. I can always mail it your way and if he feels like it fine and if not thats ok too! Of course I understand...Keep it in mind and you can always keep the record anyway!...It would mean so very much to me.

I've written a bunch on my appreciation for Chuck Berry on my blog but I cant post link yet although lets say its worldwide web 47west63rd dot blogspot dot com

Hello CBII,

My name is Umberto and I am from Brazil, I am very happy that her father will play here. I consider him the greatest symbol of rock and despite my 32 years, I love him a lot to music.
I have a small correction, the correct name of the city he plays in Brazil is "Porto Alegre" and not "Port Aelgre" (06/21/2008 Pepsi on Stage).
Thanks for this visit to Brazil and would like to know whether there section of autographs, that would be wonderful for us.

Big hug,

Umberto

Chucka Berry will play next june in Brazil only for the riches, who hate him and all his devotees.
They´d put a price on tickets that is not affordable for us, the really Berry fans of The King of Rock and Roll forever!
So I here, suggest to the King´s promoters making a charital concert in Ibirapuera fields. There the Old Rocker surely will feel Brazilian Soul and Anima.
And at least, he could come to Goiânia-GO too.
We are the only Rock Blues Roll city in Brazil.
Ask to Deep Purple´s guys. They shocked.
I uana Róck!
Abraços!

Brazil is all about for me, my friend. You must know it to love it. But don´t come to see "favelas", come to see the common people and his families. Taste our food, drink our waters, kiss our folks, eat our fuits and to hear our sweet words of love and tenderness.
I beg your pardon?

hey!!
Why Brazil and no concert in Argentina??
Chuck last played here in 1993, and the concert was a success. he should have returned, there are many new fans here in Argentina since 1993!

cleberkisser,

The people of Porto Alegre ROCKED! We really loved that show. Everyone was really on that night and the crowd was fantastic! I hope we get to come back at the end of the year or first part of next year. I would love to be in Brazil in the Summer!

Thank you very much.

CBII...
