“Crimson, White & Indigo” is a three-hour spectacular that recounts the Dead’s performance at Philadelphia’s JFK Stadium on July 7, 1989. The veteran jam band was enjoying renewed popularity thanks to their recent hit “A Touch of Grey,” and 95,000 of their closest friends showed up for the party.

Weird, I just bought this a few weeks ago (actually I traded for it.) Really excellent reissue. Great band. I dig their first album too, but their third is not as much my thing. It's good, but it doesn't have th charm of the other two to me.

hey everybody!

actually i'm listening to the last Hip-O release,

Have Mercy...

WHAT A DELIGHT!

god, particularly jams our maestro recorded like Turn On The Houselights, One Sixty Nine AM, Johnny B. Blues or Rockin' !
i re-discover tunes like South Of The Border or Bordeaux In My Pirough with a real pleasure.

My godness, this is the reason why Chuck was, is and will alway be the number one in my heart.

now that i've got the all 3 Hip-O sets, i can really tell: there's nothing to throw away in his music.

he's the king of everything...

can't wait to see him back in Europe with our favourite team (Jim; Charles, Jr.; Jean-Michel and Daniel)

...

Hey Red !

I totally agree with your statement (not the first time  ). I can`t stop listening to the >new< stuff, especially to the >warm ups< and jam sessions included there - what a delight !

And for all the european fans I hope there will be more than one show in Italy this summer !

Jan
