I'm guessing secretarial since they were sent from his fan club? Anyone know?

I'm no handwriting expert, but I'm thinking real deal. If there was any doubt in your mind, I'd get one from Chuck personally. :D

Here's a link to a story on fake sports and celebrity autographs - they say over 50% submitted to be authenticated are fake!!

ritchiefan,
I prefer a trip to Blueberry Hill in St. Louis and you will get original autograph from Chuck.
You can never be 100% sure if you buy something from ebay but if you do the autograph have not been whritten for you, just for anybody else.

Here's an auction link claiming to be a CB signed guitar - probably questionable at best......

I can tell you, my dad would have NEVER signed a guitar with his image on it. It amazes me the autograph ghouls have stooped to getting pick guards and putting them on the cheapest guitars they can find. Here's the real tip off. Notice the picture of him signing something BUT IT DOES NOT SHOW YOU WHAT IT IS! The photo was taken in the back of Blueberry Hill at least 3 years ago (I can tell by the car in the background).

The guy from Pawn Stars said it best. A pick guard or Guitar signed by an artist is pretty much worthless to a real collector since it was never used by the person.

Many of the authentication companies have been proven to be complete frauds (DISCLAIMER: I'm not saying the one that authenticated the signature is included in that category and this is my opinion only). Be very wary of ANYTHING touted as authentic unless you saw it signed yourself.
