It's funny how little accidents in life change your life.

I heard about the show that day. I got my older sisters to take me. We showed up late and parked right next door to the auditorium. The place was not packed. He was the headliner but opted to play first, probably just to get it over with. We were able to walk straight up to the 7th or 8th row.

And from that moment forward? Suffice it to say that Wednesday I'll be getting up soon in the morning, flying a long way to St. Louis, and that evening I'll see him again. And then again Saturday.
