"You Never Can Tell" Cover by "What the CHUCK!"

The first single from the CHUCK100 tribute EP series is out NOW!

Chuck Berry didn’t just shape rock and roll—he built its foundation. To honor the man who gave the world “Johnny B. Goode” and so much more, Isalee Music and the Berry family are kicking off CHUCK100, a multi-year celebration leading up to Chuck’s 100th birthday on October 18, 2026.

Today, we’re rolling out the first single in this tribute series: a fresh take on 'You Never Can Tell' by What the CHUCK!—featuring Chuck’s son, Charles Berry Jr.; grandsons, Charles Berry III, and Jahi Eskridge; along with Antonio Foster, Keith Robinson, and Terrence Coleman.

Each EP in this series, produced by GRAMMY-nominated Carl Nappa at The Saint Louis Recording Club, will deliver four unique covers of Chuck’s iconic hits. This first EP will showcase You Never Can Tell with renditions by Dave Grelle’s Playadors, FatPocket, and Mattie Schell—bringing new life to the classics, all while keeping Chuck’s unmistakable spirit alive in St. Louis.
